Fund the Football Budget

Fans, as owners of Falkirk Football Club, now have the last couple weeks of December to ensure that we give the manager the best chance of success in the transfer market and ultimately get ourselves out this league.

FSS members will have already seen the fantastic impact they can have with the extension of Ethan Ross’ loan and the signing of Ryan Shanley , but there’s much more to be done. These signings only happened due to ~130 new members and considerable increases in contributions from current members over the last couple months.

The Manager spoke at the AGM about the difficult place he finds himself in – with the Club unable to commit to an increase in budget he was unable to confidently plan for the second half of the season and beyond. As a fan-owned Club, we have to live within our means, and the only certainty to increasing the football budget is through fan-funding. FSS offers the chance for fans to do this. For a £10 a month contribution you join the collective group of fans who fund the football budget and have sustained full time football in the town. Now we must push forward.

After this years Club AGM we heard that all the funds that FSS members pledge from now until the end of the season will go towards the January transfer budget.

We need the help of everyone. This month it is vital that as many Bairns can come onboard and join the 850+ members. Collectively, if we can build on the positive momentum surrounding FSS and get more Bairns signed up, then the fans have a real chance to be the driving force behind our club getting out the league.
