This season, we have been working with the club to have a dedicated FSS mascot at each SPFL Scottish Premiership home match at the Falkirk Stadium. This ‘once in a lifetime’ opportunity is open to any of our 5-to-11 year olds who are FSS Under 16 members, just make sure they are signed up to be included in the draw for upcoming matches. You will also be alongside 2 x Junior Bairn mascots to enjoy this experience.
The FSS mascot and parent/guardian will be invited along to the Falkirk Stadium a few hours before kick-off where you will be met by a club representative and have a behind the scenes look at the preparation prior to the match, a photo opportunity with the first team squad, usually in the dressing room, then also have pitch side access for the players warming up.
Then, the moment of walking out onto the pitch along with the players in front of a near sell-out crowd, sporting a FSS T-shirt, a photo opportunity with the captains of each club and the match officials before being escorted back to your parent/guardian to enjoy the match from your seat.
Recent feedback below that we received from the parent of Matthew Fyall who was our mascot against Rangers.
“I’m writing to thank you for the Falkirk matchday mascot experience our son, Matthew, had a couple of weeks ago.
He and his big brother had a fantastic time and it really was a once in a lifetime experience for them. Sadly not the scoreline we’d have hoped for, but you can’t have everything!
We wanted to let you know how much the experience meant to them and thank you and the FSS for the opportunity.”
Here are recent images taken from our match against Hearts in September when 7 year old Jude Whittit had his experience.
