Following member feedback, we are delighted to announce that it’s time for the future of the Falkirk Supporters Society, and the future of our club, to be secured with the youngest of Bairns joining the fan-ownership movement.
We want to make sure that our Junior Membership is as engaged in the FSS ethos and message of “Fund, Safeguard and have your Say” as the rest of the support. These young people will one day be the Fans Directors of the Club and it is vital that we have them embedded in the fan-ownership journey.
There is no cost for an U16 joining the FSS. We don’t want a parent/guardian having to contribute more, but instead Junior Members will be regularly offered the opportunity to be actively involved in helping the FSS fund raising efforts. In return for their membership, Junior Members will receive an E-certificate of ownership as our safeguarding is associated with the 25%+1 ownership of shares, and although not be permitted to vote or stand for election to Committee (as per our constitution), Junior Members will be engaged through focus groups and surveys with parents and guardians to gather their views and help shape the FSS moving forward.
So Bairns, young and old, lets sign up and secure the future of the FSS and the future of our club.
