The FSS obviously contributes significantly to the club each month giving vital funds to support the managers playing budget, our academy development as well as infrastructure projects. The FSS are also supporting the clubs new fundraising initiative, the Pitch Fund and we are asking FSS members to also consider contributing using this link via the clubs ticketing site.
As you will know, the club recently launched the Pitch Fund, offering fans the option to support fundraising for a new hybrid pitch and training ground. As Falkirk supporters are aware, the SPFL mandated that Premiership clubs can no longer use artificial surfaces. Falkirk FC secured a one-year grace period meaning that the new pitch must be installed at the end of season 2026/27. The Pitch Fund will replace the Manager’s Fund from previous years. The club must raise approximately £1.5 million to cover the costs of a new pitch and training facility. About one-third of this has been secured in advances from future SPFL payments, and this season’s success will allow us to contribute a similar amount from cash reserves. That leaves a sizeable 6 figure sum to raise from the Pitch Fund and other fundraising initiatives. We want to protect our club’s progress on the pitch and continue to rebuild our Academy, so there is a clear need for fundraising outside regular ticketing, commercial and prize money income. Let us be clear: Falkirk FC’s aim is to build quality facilities that will strengthen our club in the long-term, while protecting our hard-won progress in the short-term. Many fundraising activities will take place throughout the season to support this campaign, however it is vital we get off to a strong start during this Season Ticket period. If every season ticket-holder committed an additional £60 over the next year, we would break the back of it. As a fan-owned club, everyone from the boardroom to the boot room is acutely aware that we are again asking our fans to dig deep so we can sustain our remarkable progress. Every penny will be appreciated.
