What a ruthless display last Saturday! We hope to see that carry on as we welcome Airdrieonians to the Falkirk Stadium. It will be great to roar the team on before we head on the road again for the rest of November to face some tough matches.
In October we launched our Youth Membership. This has helped to propel us towards the 1100 members mark and allowed us to welcome the next generation of Bairns into the fan ownership journey. We want to continue to expand our membership and would encourage members to spread the message that we are succeeding, but that we have room to grow.
Recent donations have lifted the FSS shareholding to 26%. We would like to thank all of those shareholders who have donated shares to the Society. A long term aim of the Committee is for the FSS to be the home for small shareholders. If you are interested in making a share donation, please contact us at admin@falkirksupporters.org
Given our growing shareholding, it is important that we take steps to protect this. The FSS Committee has recently circulated a proposal to our members for a Part Paid/Nil Paid share option. This proposal seeks to protect our shareholding in the event of a future share issue. Full details of the proposal are set out in our October newsletter which members should have received on 1 November. We would welcome any feedback from members before we seek to make this proposal official.
Unfortunately, due to low ticket sales, we took the decision to postpone our fundraising event which was due to take place last night. We have rescheduled this event for Friday 16 May 2025 as an End of Season Party. The previous two events we have held have been a great success and we hope members and non-members can come together and support this event. These events are great opportunities to connect with fellow Bairns and develop our community of supporters. Tickets for the rescheduled event are now available via Skiddle.
The FSS Committee are always looking for more feedback from our members, particularly on what focus the FSS should have and ideas for improving how the Society is run. If you have anything you wish to suggest, please get in touch at admin@falkirksupporters.org If you are not already a member of FSS, it would be great to have you on board! Signing up is straightforward. The preferred method of payment is by Standing Order. Please ensure that your name is shown when setting up the Standing Order and at the same time email us at subscriptions@falkirksupporters.org with your full name, preferred email address, first payment date and donation amount. If you are a current member, and can afford it, then we would be very grateful if you would consider increasing your contributions.
