Programme Notes: Airdrieonians

22 March 2025

What a performance we saw at the national stadium last weekend! Every player played their part and it was incredible to see so many Bairns backing the team in the stands. Today we welcome Airdrieonians to the Falkirk Stadium in a top versus bottom of the league clash. However, we all know this team will not underestimate the challenge our visitors will pose.

The FSS Committee are delighted to welcome our members along to our AGM due to take place on Thursday 27 March 2025. Members should have received details of the AGM via email. Any questions should be directed to admin@falkirksupporters.org

This will be the first AGM where members will have taken part in an indicative vote on which strategic priorities FSS contributions should support as part of Project 1876. This includes two votes: one for a larger funding priority focus and a second for a smaller discrete project. This is a perfect opportunity for members to have their say and shape the direction of our club now and into the future. Members should have received an email with a link to vote. The results will be announced at the AGM.

This has been an extraordinary year for the FSS. In the past year our membership has grown by 15%. We have also established a youth membership and have welcomed over 100 youth members. The FSS also remains the largest single shareholder in the club.

As we look to the future, the FSS has launched Project 1876. This project seeks to refresh the FSS and encourage stronger engagement, greater consultation and collaboration, and a focus on the shaping of our club into the future. More details of Project 1876 can be found on our website www.falkirksupporters.org

Members should also have received an email seeking their views on season ticket prices for season 2025/26. This survey is open for responses until the end of March. Both the FSS Committee and the club would be very grateful for any comments and feedback from our members.

We now have under 70 members who subscribe through PayPal. The FSS has moved away from this platform and if members do not switch to Standing Order (or Total Tickets if overseas) you will drop from our membership. Over the last year, we have lost over 100 members whose PayPal subscriptions have ended and they have not moved to a new platform. Don’t let this happen to you!

If you are not already a member of FSS, it would be great to have you on board! Signing up is straightforward. The preferred method of payment is by Standing Order. You can set up a minimum £10 monthly Standing Order with the bank details contained below. Please ensure that your name is shown when setting up the Standing Order and at the same time email us at subscriptions@falkirksupporters.org with your full name, preferred email address, first payment date and donation amount. If you are a current member, and can afford it, then we would be very grateful if you would consider increasing your contributions. Bank details:-
