What a feeling that was on Saturday, we hope your voices are starting to recover following the derby day victory! Today we welcome Premiership side Hearts in the first knock-out round of the League Cup. We hope to see the team carrying on the momentum of the start of the season into this match. This fixture has a history of cup drama so we expect to see an exciting match.

Our most recent membership figures show we sit at 1,005 members contributing just short of £160,000 per year. This is an incredible achievement for a relatively young organisation. However, we do not want to stop here. As we have set out previously, we understand that – as a general rule – fan ownership groups tend to be able to reach a membership of roughly half the number of season ticket holders. This season has already seen a massive uptake of season tickets with 3,800 Bairns on board for season 2024/25. Given this extraordinary uptake, we really should be aiming for a membership of at least 1,500. If you are a new season ticket holder for 2024/25, welcome on board and we would love to have you as a member of FSS!

The growth of the FSS has been exciting for all of us. However, as our organisation grows, we are facing new challenges in managing and running FSS. Our committee have co-opted positions available for members who could help develop the FSS or assist with routine activities. Even if you just wish to volunteer some time without joining the committee, we would appreciate all offers of help!

Following discussion with members, it was determined that FSS should move way from PayPal due to fees and the maximum 2-year subscription period. Due to the maximum subscription period, we are still seeing members dropping off of our list and not moving to another payment method. Please note that PayPal will not send you a reminder that your subscription has ended. These members will be those who signed up in the first year of our fan-ownership journey and we believe that many of these members are not dropping off through choice, but that they are unaware their subscription has lapsed. Therefore, if you are an FSS member paying through PayPal we would ask that you check your account and consider moving to another payment method. If you are not already a member of FSS, it would be great to have you on board for season 2024/25! Signing up is straightforward. The preferred method of payment is by Standing Order. Please ensure that your name is shown when setting up the Standing Order and at the same time email us at subscriptions@falkirksupporters.org with your full name, preferred email address, first payment date and donation amount.
