Refer a Bairn

Following our return to the top-flight of Scottish Football after an absence of 15 years, no-one imagined that this team of Players and Management staff could have secured the club a Top 6 position in the Scottish Premiership and knocking on the door of qualification for European Football as we arrive at our 150th Anniversary as Falkirk Football Club.  It’s an exciting time to be part of Falkirk Football Club and the club needs you more than ever.

For a limited time, the FSS, in association with the club, we would like to promote a ‘Refer a Bairn’ campaign with a view to increase FSS numbers towards 1500 members.

We, at The FSS, kept our mantra simple – FUND – SAFEGUARD – HAVE YOUR SAY

You already know why you joined the FSS.  Maybe it was the chance to have a real say in how OUR club is run.  Maybe it was knowing your money stays close to home, protecting Falkirk’s future rather than lining someone else’s pockets.  Maybe it was something harder to put into words; a feeling, a moment, a conversation that made it click.  Whatever it was, that story is yours, it’s more persuasive than anything we could write.

On 20th April 2026, we launched our ‘Refer a Bairn’ campaign and we’re asking you to get involved to help us reach this target.

Contained within previous Bairn’s Survey results, fans said they would be willing to invite someone to join the Falkirk Supporters Society.  We haven’t forgotten that.  We’ve spent the time since making it as straightforward as possible, because the last thing we want is good intentions getting lost in the effort of following through.

We’re aiming to welcome 150 new adult members by the end of May 2026, that’s one for every year since Falkirk Football Club was founded in 1876.  This would mean that the FSS would enter into the club’s 150^th year with over 1500 FSS members.

So how are we going to achieve this……Personal recommendations are how we get there.  We just want people who care about OUR club talking to other people who care about OUR club and as a good will gesture, the club will be offering retail shop voucher worth £20.00 as a ‘thank you’ for taking the time to encourage someone else to sign up to become a member of the FSS.

How it will work.

• A current FSS member holds a conversation with a non-FSS member/Falkirk Fan regarding FSS/Fan Ownership and shares the Refer a Bairn campaign page URL.
• Non-FSS member completes the Refer a Bairn Membership* details required below including the name & contact email address of the referring FSS member.
• Non-FSS member starts making routine contributions of at least £10.00 per month by setting up a standing order from their Bank Account.
• Once payment has been started, FSS Secretary will inform club who is eligible for a retail voucher and will also inform each FSS member who has Referred a Bairn.
• Referring FSS Member then presents themselves to a Club Shop member of staff showing ID to allow list cross checking then you will be issued with a £20.00 voucher to spend on FFC retail merchandise (in store only).

* The ‘Refer a Bairn’ campaign is for becoming a new Full FSS paying member, referred by a current FSS member, no retail voucher will be issued for anyone signing up as an Under 16 member via this campaign.

This is our best ever chance to make a major difference in our club.
