Following the recent short lobbying campaign relating to safety and access issues at The Falkirk Stadium, the Falkirk Supporters Society Board is pleased to confirm that Falkirk Council has moved quickly to make contact regarding the concerns raised by supporters with an offer to discuss the situation further. In addition they have uploaded a response to the A9/A90 Improvement website.
We would like to thank those members, and Bairns more generally, who engaged constructively with the local authority and elected representatives to help us move the situation forward.
We welcome this prompt response and are encouraged that a conversation, which will now include the vital voices and experiences of supporters, can begin. We are hopeful that this can lead to a situation where all parties can work together collaboratively to ensure that all current and future safety and access issues on matchdays, as outlined in our previous communication, can be addressed.
The FSS Board will continue to engage on behalf of all Bairns and will use the collective strength of our 1350 members to push for positive change. We will keep supporters updated as discussions progress and return to you if we need any further assistance.
