The Road to 1876 – 1250 Members!

22 June 2025

We’re proud to share that after a summer surge in sign-ups, the Falkirk Supporters Society has surpassed the 1,250 members mark and now sits at 1270 members strong – a fantastic milestone that shows that fan ownership will continue to grow in Falkirk. But we’re not stopping here.

Our next target remains clear: 1,876 members – a nod to the year our Club was founded (yes we can hear some shouting 1877, but we’re sticking with 76!) and a symbol of our ambitions going forward. More members means more representation, more investment into the club we love, and even greater momentum behind the successful fan ownership model which has transformed our club over the last three years.

So What’s Next?

Fan-funding

With your support, we can continue to make a real, growing difference. Over the past three seasons, FSS members have contributed over £700,000 to the Club. To put it simply, we are not where we are today without FSS members and you could kick us on further.

After a members vote, contributions in 2025/26 will, for the first time, be strategically allocated across the Club. You will now support:

The First Team budget – A fan-funded boost to help the gaffer build his Premiership squad.

The Falkirk Academy – FSS contributions were vital in giving the club confidence to bring it back. You can play a part in shaping future Bairns.

Infrastructure Projects – You invest in the off-pitch improvements which improve the fan experience.

The 5% Project – A new way for direct ownership of a specific improvement project each year. This year it is safer standing in the KM7.

Have Your Say

Project 1876 is our strategy for a stronger, consultative and collaborative Falkirk Supporters Society and Falkirk Football Club— you’re not just here to donate, but you help decide.

You’ll steer our shareholding votes with members balloted when opinions are split. The FSS now holds over 25% of Club shares, meaning the fans can block (obviously hoping it’s never needed!) any special resolutions that don’t align with fan values.

You’ll help drive club improvements. Using your feedback from the Annual Bairns Survey, we’ll dig deeper into fans concerns and work directly with the Club to address issues through focus groups, polls and member-led suggestions.

You’ll have a say on wider issues in Scottish football. Whether it’s the distribution of wealth in Scottish football, the role of B teams, or wider social issues in the game — we believe fans should have a voice beyond the pitch and the FSS is the way you can get it. If necessary, we’ll take direct action too, working with other fan-owned clubs and campaigning for change.

Giving More Back to You

Being part of the FSS isn’t just about supporting the Club — it’s about being part of a community. We want to make sure you feel valued as a member and get something back in return.

That means more exclusive events, competitions, and experiences. Whether it’s a behind-the-scenes experience, a chance to meet the players, or limited-edition merchandise — we want to work on ways to say thank you for being part of the Society.

But here’s the thing — we can’t do it without you.

We need your help to shape what this looks like and to help us implement it. What kind of thing would excite you? What would make you feel even more connected to the club and your fellow members? We’ll be reaching out and your answers will help guide what we do next.

And if you’re the kind of person who enjoys organising things, coming up with ideas, or just lending a hand — we’d love for you to get involved. We’re looking for members to step forward and help bring these offers and events to life. Whether it’s helping at a stall, coming up with merch ideas, or helping run a social event — it’ll be better when you pitch in.

So let us know what you’d like to see — and if you’re up for helping out, give us a shout at admin@falkirksupporters.org.
