As part of the recent Bairns Survey, we asked fans why they haven’t yet joined the Falkirk Supporters Society. The responses gave us a lot to think about, and we completely understand that there can be a range of reasons – from practical considerations to personal views. We’re genuinely grateful to everyone who took the time to share their thoughts and be part of that conversation.
Among those who aren’t yet members, 45% said the cost of membership had put them off, while a small number (5%) said they weren’t in favour of fan ownership. Encouragingly, 16% said they intended to sign up – though when we followed up, that only led to a couple of new members.
Now, it’s time to take the next step. If you haven’t yet signed up, we’d love to know what would encourage you to join. Whether it’s clearer communication, added benefits, or more understanding of how your contribution makes a difference – your voice matters.
Because growing our membership isn’t just about numbers. It’s about powering the future of fan ownership at Falkirk FC. Every new member strengthens the Society’s ability to:
- Give supporters a louder collective voice
- Shape key decisions about the future of the club
- Increase funding to help Falkirk thrive on and off the park
The FSS was created to ensure that fans will always have a meaningful say in how our club is run. That principle only grows stronger when more Bairns stand behind it.
